Quick update on West End Allentown pub/eatery
In his West End blog, Damien Brown updates us on the attractive new awning (and some Monday night noshing) at Jack Callahan's on Tilghman. He also reports that a new Mexican/Dominican eatery is slated for the corner of 19th and Allen. Of course, you'll get a full, multi-course report once it opens. Thanks for the updates, Damien.

is there any good cuban food around? i'm new to the area.
The only Cuban place I'm familiar with is Churros Cafe on Turner Street in Allentown between 9th and 10th. It's a decent little Cuban cafe with a limited menu. Most of the meals I've had there have been decent. I'll head there sometime soon and post a review.
