All,
I'm back. And will be blogging more often. I appreciate the prodding to get back writing. Honestly, I flattered that so many of you find my blog useful. Thanks for your comments -- and keep on eating!

I have been unable to find any African restaurants in the Valley. Any that I might be unaware of?
None that I'm aware of, either. (Anyone?) I'd love to see an Ethiopian, Moroccan, Senegalese or other African restaurant open up. I doubt the Lehigh Valley would support it. (Though I know I would do my part.) There was an African grocery store on 8th Street in Allentown, but it closed about two years ago.
Michael,
I think that African grocery (Tookie's Market?) is attempting to reopen on Hamilton near the Penndot building at 10th St. I have yet to see it open but there are signs in the window.
Thanks, Sarina. I thought I saw an African grocery on Linden just west of 9th -- next to the large laundromat. I will be in the area on Wednesday and will check it out.
I enjoy reading your blog. My son is vegetarian and often good ethnic restaurants offer the best choices for vegetarian dining. Keep writing!
Thanks, Sara. Asian and Indian restaurants are especially suitable for vegetarians. Of course, it's always smart to ask whether they use chicken or beef stock in their cooking.
Mike- I too and just getting up to speed on your posts from the last few months. Was wondering if you have reviewed and/or visited Cali Burrito yet. It's a favorite of mine!
Yep -- gave Cali Burrito a thumbs up 9/27/07. Glad to know you enjoy it there, too.
