Kim's Kitchen is a wonderful place! I've eaten here a few times and haven't had a bad experience yet. She makes everything from scratch and takes a lot of pride in her cooking. She definitely has a local following and recognizes her returning customers. Definitely a great addition to the Lehigh Valley.

Made it to Thai Thai yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Coconut soup was outstanding. Atmosphere was great too.

Kimchee cheesecake -- talk about a cultural clash. I imagine the meat and grease temper the kimchee a bit.

I do miss the array of veggies, pickled items and assorted (but good) weirdness before the meal. One place had some sort of cold salad with tiny fish -- heads, tails and all.

Sounds great. Would love to see more Korean specialties on their menu. I've been to Korean restaurants where they ply you with a variety of pickled vegetable appetizers before you even order. Always good seafood soup, too; similar to Vietnamese pho. The State Street Kitchen in Newtown serves a kimchee cheesesteak that's great. Perhaps Kim's can put those menu items together. Though eating heated kimchee in an open office environment is not advisable; it's quite pungent.

I believe she does. It is a little spicy and pungent, but it's worth experiencing once. There's nothing quite like it. I'd say it's an acquired taste. Kim will let you try a little bit if you're hesitant.

Any idea if Kim's Kitchen makes their own kimchee? Recently saw this on a "No Reservations" re-run and want to try it but am afraid it will be too spicy for me. How its made sounds disgusting but I can get past that!
